Whilst Hathaway visits his father, who suffers from dementia, in a home Lewis is called in when a three year old corpse is fished from a well. Then artist Talika Desai is found murdered and her necklace missing. Her agent Sean Wilkinson is a suspect after young student Ollie Tedman saw the pair argue but Ollie's father Ian, Talika's old tutor, was also giving her money. 以標本為主題的案子，內容匪夷所思，最後兇手揭曉也彷彿連環套。對本系列的觀眾而言，最大的樂趣應該不是解謎，而是看下集殺人案會在哪個學院哪個科系爆出來。（大誤）
又是一个类似于团体作案的结果，凶手并不难猜，动机比较离奇，涉及到斯坦福监狱实验，算是一个比较有新意的案件。最后Lewis和Hathaway父子钓鱼的画面很温馨。
